Central Panel of a Triptych
Created by Eugene Daub for the National
Park Service in Guam. |
Daub
sculpted this triptych and 2 other large reliefs at Artworks Foundry. Artworks' engineered
and constructed large steel panels for the triptychs curved wall. Each panel was 5' x 5'
and sculpted in record time (3 weeks), one week per panel by Daub with the help of GHEI,
an Artworks' sculpture employee. NOTE FROM THE ARTIST: The rush job went like clockwork, Artworks provided the
job site, technical assistance - even and assistant, to meet a daunting deadline. We went
to Guam and installed all the pieces. The whole job sailed without a hitch. |
